Greetings All!

I would like to take a moment to introduce myself and to thank you for your support and vote during our recent election. So…… I’m Dewey Sorensen the newly elected Region 7 Director of the ABPA. I have been a Tester and Specialist for over 20 years working most of my time as a private contractor. Recently (almost a year ago) I was hired by the fine City of Bozeman MT to expand a vigorous and healthy Cross-Connection Control program. I have done just about anything you can think of when it comes to backflow. So if you need help or just an ear to commiserate with give me a call or drop me a line. Also if you have ideas for the improvement of the organization please pass them along to your chapter President who will pass them along to me.

On to more fun and exciting things! WRBC Oct. 5-6, 2009. This is the Western Regional’s  annual conference and if you have not had the opportunity to attend, you have been missing out! There will be plenty of topics covered to educate you and expand your horizons and maybe help you do your job better. Make your calendars and plan on attending, I know it will be well worth your time.
